Them's the breaks

American/Australian slang. Possibly short for "that is the breakdown". It means "that's just how it is" or "that's how the cookie crumbles".

Sometimes rendered as "dems...", "those...", etc.

A: "Ah, that's not fair!"
B: "Them's the breaks, dude."
