Wile man. Colloquial Irish. A name given to a man or boy who holds a certain special quality, and frequently causes much amusement for his friends and peers. To demonstrate that a subject is a 'wile man', one must make an 'L' shape with one's finger and thumb and hold the shape under the subjects chin.
"Paddy? Uck Paddy is a wile man!" "Wile man Mick!"
