When your phone is ringing off the hook, someone is blowin you up.

"I'm blowin up!" "I'm so popular, I've been blowin up all night."

intransitive verb describing the vibration of a cell phone or a pager. One of the earliest uses of the term appears in Ice T's "Six in the Morning."

Ice T's pager was blowin' up at six in the morning.

receiving multiple calls on your phone or pages on your pager in a short amount of time.

Damn, that girl's been blowin' up your cell ever since you broke her off a piece!

To recieve a call, generally on a cell phone.

Getting success. Getting money. Getting big. Getting famous. Getting a successful album or popular club single for a rapper.
