The term "bro it up" comes from a group of guys hanging out not doing much besides enjoying eachothers company and being men. No girls are involved in a Bro down. Often times involves a few cold beers, a funny show and maybe an xbox.
Bro Number 1: "Say dudes yall down to bro it up tonight?"
Bro Number 2: "im broke man"
Bro Number 1: "Good because I didnt ask to go out to the bar. I said lets bro it up. What the hell is wrong with you"
When you and your best friend have insurmountable differences in your friendship and you have to break up with your best bro. It includes but is not limited to, no longer speaking to one another, talking trash about one another and awkward moments of returning each others belongings
Guy 1: Yeah, we used to be tight but we had a bro-ke up.
When your best guy friend starts hanging out with a different guy and they become best friends.
Guy 1: "Dude, I went to the movies last night and I saw Kent hanging out with Bradley. And today they're going bowling together! I thought Kent was MY best friend!"
Guy 2: "Ahh, I see. Sorry dude, he totally just bro-ke up with you."
The ongoing development of a relationship, usually between guys, that is far closer than that just casual friends.
Hey, man. You are new to the hood. It's going to take you a while to bro up with the other guys.
