Bunnery

Verb. The act (or art) of sleuthing out and/or gaining intelligence from radio signals, esp. with a radio scanner or software-defined radio. To actually travel somewhere away from one's residence and spend the time needed to ascertain such information as who is using a frequency, where, how and why.

"Did you know he flew to Denver for Bunnery? Nailed down the Mint PD while he was there." "That guy was atop a mountain for hours doing Bunnery- he tracked down signals from a wildlife refuge."
