early out

Casino dealers work 1 hour on, 20 minutes off - when your last break falls at the end of your shift, you get out of work 20 minutes early. Dealers will fight, plead, wheel & deal for the "early out".

Pit Boss: Has anyone seen Carmen? Floorman: She's gone for the day, she got the early out. Check racker: That Bitch got it twice already this week!

Early Out.

Employees (usually casino dealers) can request to go home early if there are more employees on duty than needed near the end of their shift. If they aren't needed they can get an Early Out.

I have a dentist appointment tomorrow at 9. I could realy use an Early Out.

Cutting Out Early

Leaving ones place of work before the work day is officially complete. Often used with a lame excuse such as having to go to Karate practice.

Hey guys - I have to Cut Out Early to go to Karate. If the boss calls, just tell him that I have an offsite meeting.
