Half shot is waking up after a long night of drinking, still drunk.
“I woke up this morning still half shot!”
Adj. (1) phrase describing a drunk person. Canadians sometimes say "half in the bag." Those from the states, especially in larger cities prefer, "Half shot in the ass."
