Hitter

Street for killer, they shoot to kill, usually they walk up or drive by. Regardless someones getting shot.

He snitched, so I called up my hitters to take care of him.

hitter

a term referring to a style of rebellious teen in the 1950s early 1960s also known as a "greaser" that appears, for example in the film the "blackboard jungle." A "hitter" was tough on the outside but could be soft on the inside. The persona is sometimes associated with having an affinity for doo-wop style music.

Look at those hitters over there in their leather jackets, with their greased up hair and hot rod cars.
