A child who is so intensely focused on the iPad their parents gave them (usually in a bulky case, and littered with fingerprints) that they lose all awareness of their surroundings, often randomly contorting their bodies and throwing themselves in awkward ways over furniture, bumping into things, and randomly vocalizing.

They also watch cocomelon, Ryans toyreview and dumb Youtube videos on there iPad. Sadly they never grew up with there TV as everything they wanted to watch is on their stupid greasy cracked iPad. Also they couldn't live a day without there iPad...

Refers to toddlers and children who are obsessively attached to iPads or similar handheld digital devices, often given by parents primarily as a means of appeasing their child's shorter attention span. As a consequence, useful time that could have been spent on hands-on learning and the development of social skills is lost in favor of spending hours watching often very overstimulating or even inappropriate content on the internet, potentially hindering the child's healthy development.
The COVID pandemic especially saw a significant increase in the number of iPad kids.
