Characterized as one (usually male) who has exceptionally coiffed hair that requires product. Important hair can be straightened, teased or otherwise carefully groomed. Often seen in the hipster variation of subculture as well as Emo kids, neo-mods and glamorous indie rockers.
The guy in VHS or Beta has really important hair. All the important hair guys were there. She only dates guys with important hair.
