Kilode

A word in Yoruba which means "why" or "what is it". Often used if your Nigerian mom is annoyed at you.

I called my mom 9 times to ask if she could make plantain and puff puff so on the 9th time, she asked "KILODEEEEEEEEEE AH?". I then decided at that point that I should hang up because she might get the belt.
