Deriving from the English football star Beckham, after injuring himself in a ridiculous manner. The phrase 'pulling a Beckham' can be used when someone or something gets hurt in the most minimal or stupidest way.
Boy: Coach, Brandon just pulled a beckham!!! Coach:How? Boy:I don't know, he was just walking toward the ball and then he just collapsed to the floor while grabbing his knee. Coach:If he keeps pulling a beckham everyday like that, were going to have to get him out the team!
