runs good

In a private purchase of a car, a way to say that the car looks like crap but still runs.

“It’s got rust but it sure runs good.”

Run-Good

Poker Term. (adjective) The seeming ability to constantly achieve the better outcome.

That guy seems to always win when he's in a pot. He's got some serious run-good.

good run

Something that went well, or maybe just better than expected, but is now over. It may also be used insultingly or sarcastically to describe an attempt that was, in fact, not a good run.

ex 1: Kanye had a good run as a sane person. ex 2: After Jeb Bush announced he is ending his candidacy for president, someone could yell sarcastically "Good run, Jeb!" to hurt his feelings.

good run

a good run involves some sort of sexual act with a hot female. after a good run is completed it is appropriate to die, not before!
