A term used for when someone takes a joke that was previously funny, "too far," to the point where it's no longer funny and/or awkward. Can be used as an alternative for "killed it"
1. You: Getting hit in the knees turns you gay guys! Quinn : So you must've been pulverized by a hammer! Lolz You: ...Took it too far. 2. You: Yo Neil Patrick Harris is gay!! Quinn: With his mom? You: Took it too far.
