Dictator installed by the United States in South Vietnam after the Geneva Accords in order to prevent the Communists from winning control of Vietnam in a democratic election. Repressed Buddhists. Eventually assassinated by the military.

Ngo Dinh Diem was like George W. Bush, but in Vietnam.

black panthers

A 1960s black activist group for the defense of the black community. Arose from interracial tensions and violence of the period. Perhaps best known for their armed march into the California capitol with their 10-point "Panther Platform." Used the slogan "All Power To The People." Also ran a free breakfast program for children.

Damn those racist Black Panthers! We must stop their racist agenda of carrying licensed guns and giving kids free grits!
