1. The gradual swelling and diminishing of sound produced by the voice that gives shape to a long note. This technique has been used with instruments as well, but is primarily a vocal instruction. 2. An unofficial "gang" for "bad-ass" Choir/Band kids. They all come together very few times for special musical festivals, competitions, and auditions.
