John Tyler was the 10th President of the United States of America. He served from 1841-1845, taking the office of president after William Henry Harrison died as the 9th President.
He was born in Virginia in 1790 to a prominent family. He then became a U.S Representative, the Governor of Virginia, and a U.S. Senator in that order. He then became the 10th Vice President under President William Henry Harrison. However, Harrison died on April 4th, 1841 from pneumonia. Immediately following this Tyler became the 10th President. It should be noted however, that there was much debate about if Tyler was really the bona fide president or the acting president. This was due to some unclear writing regarding the U.S. Cosntitution.
Person 1: We’re studying John Tyler in history class!
Person 2: Really? I heard he was the first President who was never elected to the position!
A person who is considered famous. A famous person is someone who is known by many people. For the sake of simplicity, let’s assume that famous means being known by 10% of an areas population (such as a country, country sub division, town, etc.) from that period (such as the renaissance or roaring twenties). Therefore, there are many types of famous. One may be famous in their family, but not globally famous. This definition is useful for when desiring to write definitions about celebrities on Urban Dictionary. If it can be assumed that at least 10% of the population of the celebrities home nation (or residing nation if they are stateless) has basic knowledge about them (knowing their name and occupation), then it is acceptable to write a definition about that celebrity.
Urban Dictionary Member 1: Would it be reasonable to assume that Morgan Freeman is a celebrity.
Urban Dictionary Member 2: Yes, as one can assume that at least 10% of the population knows him.

A chilled out dude who’s always laid back and ready for a good time. Whether it’s a football party, backyard party, or a prom party, he is always the type who will with our hesitation, attend. This type of person may use the term “radical” or “sup” too much, but it’s usually always positive. He also has a typical surfer accent but typically doesn’t go about surfing, instead laying on the couch like it’s a lazy Sunday. All in all, he may be a tad bit lazy or chill, but he means well and generally a type of person The Homies will accept.
A Grunkie: Bruh, like let’s just go to the party, I hear they’re watching football man!
Bob: Seriously? When we have homework due tomorrow? You’re such a Grunkie man!
A type of chill and laid back dude. He always goes with the flow and is down for whatever. What he is most down for, though, is any and all parties. Whether it is a football party, prom party, or pool party, he will attend and even make the party more lively. Also, they would rather game than do any physical activities. While a bit lazy, Grunkies are a great choice to be accepted into The Homies.
Grunkie: I don’t wanna work out, I’mma just sit here and play Among Us.
Bob: Dude you’re such a Grunkie!
A word that is commonly used in media parodying or referencing Monsters Inc. It was first used in the song “Wouldn’t Have Nothing if I Didn’t Have You” where actor John Goodman (Sully in the film) jokes that Mike (actor Billy Crystal) is green with envy. The joke here is that in the movie Mike’s skin is actually green.
What do people actually mean when they say this? Idk I’m just a UrbanDictionary writer.
Person: I can’t wait to watch Monsters Inc. I’m so excited
Person 2: You’re green with it!
