Appalachian Gypsy Hound

A term used for a mixed breed canine since the early 1970's, approximately 12 to 24 inches tall, that howls / bays more than it barks and is of some hound descent (mostly beagle), found in the West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio regions, used for hunting smaller game

Hunter 1: Thats a fine little huntin' dog u got there, what kind of dog is that? Hunter 2: Oh this is Daisy and shes an Appalachian Gypsy Hound
