Off the mud is the term used when you fart and it stinks horribly. "Off the mud" means the anus air has blown past/whispered off the bill Cosby that you have sitting in your bowel which makes it extra smelly or "rich" in flavour.
Mate.. Deadset , that has absolutely tap danced off the mud! Go to the toilet and check that hasn't followed through!
