Combining clothing items that according to style etiquette do not go together. Doing this as a powerful figure will result in people unquestionably approving your fashion sense, and taking you in higher esteem.

bonk

Expression used by cyclists to describe excercise induced low blood sugar levels; being a feeling of light-headedness and weakness in all limbs. Similar to 'The Wall' in running. Has fallen out of usage in recent years due to alternative meanings.

I am feeling a bit light-headed, if I don't have a banana, I think I'm going to bonk.
I've got the bonk.
I bonked really badly and had to get a lift home.

Possip

Verb.

A word mash-up between "positive" and "gossip."

The act of speaking positively about and/or building people up people behind their back, without their consent or awareness.

Gabe: "Nathan is the best instructor I've ever seen."
Evan: "He puts the rest of the professors at this college to shame."
Gabe: "He is someone I am happy to possip about."
Nathan: *off somewhere else, oblivious to his compliments*

Mary: "I love Paukert."
Luke: "Yeah, he's a really good guy."
Paukert: *at the local grocery store, nowhere near Luke nor Mary*

Townie

In America, a townie is a person who has lived in a small town for his or her entire life. Often proud of that fact, townies take great interest in every detail of change in their home turf. Notable characteristics include: making fun of places they've never been (and probably will never go), remembering what used to be where that new building is, and getting fat after high school.

Townie: "Things haven't been the same around here since they built that hotel where the old hardware store used to be."

Wives and girlfriends. usually seen in celebrity magazines about footballers parters.

loss leader

An item that a retail stores sells at a loss in order to get people in the doors to buy other normally priced items.

If Wal-Mart were to sell a television for $20, they would probably lose money on that item (this is the loss leader); however, they are hoping that they can make it up by the other normally priced items you buy.
