Hindustani

1) Of or pertaining to India, Pakistan and Bangladesh; see Desi. 2) Hindi and Urdu, when taken as a single language.

Were it not for Hindustani culture, British cuisine would be much less interesting.

haunted

The state a restroom/lavatory/toilet is in for a period of time (depending on ventilation), after someone has defecated within.

Tex-Mex

1) The characteristically spicy style of Mexican food of Texas, influenced by non-Mexican cuisine (i.e. Texas barbecue). 2) The style of norteño (northern Mexican) music associated with South Texas; also known as Tejano. Instruments used include the accordion and the bajo sexto (a twelve-string bass-rhythm guitar).

We're going out for some Tex-Mex food tonight in San Antonio, so bring your Pepto-Bismol.

Waylon Smithers, Mr. Burns' assistant (see The Simpsons). Extremely sycophantic towards Burns despite his abuse, and obviously gay, though he never openly admits it.

Eid

One of the two annual Islamic feast days, one, Eid ul-Fitr, ends the month of Ramadan (when a Muslim fasts) and the other, Eid ul-Adha during the Hajj or pilgrimage to Mecca.

He's spending Eid with her family this weekend; I being Christian won't get to overeat with my folks until Thanksgiving.
