hell of a heck

What you feel like after you've been greatly disappointed.

So we went to the restaurant after the glowing review in the newspaper and found the beef stringy, the corn soggy, there was a piece of pumpkin pie on the floor under the table, there was a crying baby across the way, somebody was smoking a cigarette in the corner, the waitress dumped a plate of chocolate pie of my head. On the way home, Dad commented, "Well that was a hell of a heck."

Glendive

Glendive, the best little town in the big state of Montana. People there are helpful, they watch out for each other. Everything bad about Glendive is magnified fourfold in its people. They go about developing the Bell Street Rainbow Bridge and designing and making bronze statues that are found around town. Glendive is a quaint little town and not for everyone if you are used to the conveniences of big town life. However, there is less to no crime. The weather is trying (winters are rough, the summers are sweltering at times) however the weather is an issue to the cities in the path of hurricanes in the Atlantic, or cities in the southern part of the nation with the illegal immigrants and drugs coming over the southern border.

I am proud to be from Glendive.

The third guy

In a presidential election, since there are two candidates, (Republican and Democrat) there is often a "third" delegate; someone else running as an "Independent" whom nobody has ever heard of.

I didn't like either of the candidates, so I voted for the third guy.
