Aussie expression for a girl that is not necessarily pretty, but you would root her because she has a slutty attraction about her.

Aussie expression when being astounded at something. Short for “Strike me lucky”

Root

Aussie slang for sexual intercourse. Can be used in place of Fuck, Bang, Womp and Screw. If something is “Rooted” it is broken, stuffed and useless. “Rooted” can also apply to a persons lack of energy.

“Oh, Susie is a hot babe, I’d sure like to root her” “The car won’t start, it’s rooted” “I went for a run this morning, now I’m rooted”

Bloke

Aussie term for a male Australian. You do not use it in the same context as “Guy” or “Guys” In other words you do not call a group of men and women “Hey you blokes”. The term Bloke is exclusively for the fair dinkum Aussie man.

Dream Police

The term used for the imaginary people, a paranoid person "Thinks" is going to get them. Origin comes from the song "The Dream Police" by legendary rock band Cheap Trick

Oh man Steve is so paranoid, he put a pirated copy of Bone-Storm on his computer, now he thinks The Dream Police are going to get him.
