A Karen is an entitled white person that uses that white privilege to assert herself on people of color.
For example: Karen assumes a black man is robbing his own home, confronts him and precedes to call the police.
Her first wrong move, her negative prejudice, was her negative thought of him. Her second wrong move and what elevated her to the status of a Karen was opening her mouth to try to control the behaviors of a person of color because she thinks she can.
