Bames Fact

A Bames fact is when someone answers a question, or makes a statement with what they assume to be correct in a factual manner, when in fact it is completely false. A Bames fact is commonly followed up with aggressive insistence, even when shown blatant disproof of the Bames fact. Rarely upon disproof, a Bames fact can be followed up with wild theories as to how the receiver of the Bames fact is somehow at fault. IE: "Dude I recorded the conversation, listen to it!" - "That must have came through your speakers wrong"

"Did you know that pizza originated in Asia?" "idk man that sounds like a Bames fact" "I heard somewhere that ----------" "are you sure that isn't a Bames fact?
