Lovett

A surname meaning "little wolf." The Lovett family originally derived from Scotland where the name was spelled "Lovat," and Lord Lovat ruled over the clan Fraser. Because the family was Catholic, they were forced to relocate to Ireland in the 1500s. The name soon became spread throughout England as well. Somewhere along the line the name was changed to Lovett, as it is known more commonly today.

Person 1: "Your name is Lovett? Your family must be from Scotland."

Person 2: "No, actually we're English."

Person 1: "Originally you're Scotish though, trust me."
