Calhoun

(Noun, adjective): A disaster of huge proportions; anything that reeks of failure. An irksome situation. (Verb, adverb): To cause spectacular misfortune. To ruin something beyond repair due to ignorance and/or ineptness. Etymology: Southern United States, with roots primarily in Texas.

He totally dropped the ball — singlehandedly calhouned the whole project. Enron. What a calhoun that was. I got calhoun'd on the way to work. it's my second speeding ticket this month.
