Gool

A predetermined spot/area in games such as tag, that require a "safe zone". If you are touching this spot, you are SAFE from your competitor. You can not become "IT". You can NOT however stay on GOOL for an extended period of time. The time limit on GOOL is 10 Seconds.

eg: the slide in the backyard while playing tag.

HER - "Dude, I can't be it, I was touching GOOL!"
HIM - "No you weren't touching GOOL, you were just near it!"

Better than good. Better than cool. The term originated in the Last.fm subforum "Plotters" when an ESL finnish chap made a typo. Everyone thought the typo was itself, gool, and adopted it. Proliferation of the word quicky followed.

"I just found (insert band name)'s vinyl in the used bin! How gool is that?" "Plotters are the goolest."
