one of the best import racing movies ever created, has great acting by the cast, has awesome import cars with custom body kits performance parts vinyls etc.., has intense nitrous action, has a good storyline but they should of made the movie longer, and it has awesome suppressed Uzis with japanese guys using them too shoot the shit out of Brian o'connor's eclipse, sad part of the movie. really awesome car! why does everyone on this website hate on the movie? you guys make it look like they were using RC miniature turtles as cars! it was a good movie! the best out of the whole franchise!
guy: i just got done watching the fast and the furious, that movie was the best racing movie i ever seen! but it felt like it was too short. the cars in it were awesome, i gotta save up some money for one of them! guy 2: i loved every thing about the movie, and it felt short because you were so into the movie, i was too! me: i wonder what people on urban dictionary said about the movie? urban dictionary people: the worst movie ever!! the plot sucked the cars were ugly with fart exhausts and ugly paint jobs. my broken down RC turtle could dust all those cars. die Paul walker die!!!, i hate Vin diesel!! me: what the fuck! are these people 3 year olds on crack!? The fast and The furious influenced the world in many ways: -Made every JDM tuner a ricer. -Made every teen a future ricer. -After that every supra is faster than a ferrari. -VW Jettas are beaten by S2000s -Having a big gaping WANG and a Bonnet scoop makes your car faster in drag races. -Dodge chargers can do wheelies but can't dosge trucks.

The movie that doubled the price of Toyota Supras just because they were in the movie. The only good part of the movie is when Vin Diesel drives the dragster on the street.
D00d I bought Fast and the Furious
The Holy Grail of rice-boy movies (you know, the loud, obnoxious kids with slow cars). Explains many mysteries and fads of the current import car scene. Proves that form over function is the true defenition of import racing and that one don't have to go fast to win a race. Promotes the use of obscure facts (read: HP/L is more important than HP or lb/ft). Also, a great insult for a wannabe stunt double for said movie. It's nitrous, morons.

A movie about an undercover cop who tries to become a street racer to stop high speed truck hijackings. They race, somebody dies, it has a dramatic ending. I liked it. but the reception...is so/so. here's my thoughts. its a good movie. the plot is not as deep as i wouldve liked, but its a fun movie to watch while chilling at home on a rainy day. it did fuel the import boom in the US and also street racing in Cali. but its not a car advertisement, its a MOVIE!! LOL you cant blame a movie for its interpretation by the viewers! its not supposed to be funny, or realistic, or whatever, its just an action/fun movie.
dude i just saw The Fast and the Furious yesterday, it wasnt a great plot but overall a good movie, and barring the misinterpretation of the movie that says "Go get an import car and lets go cook some rice" the cars actually looked cool
