Definition: The act of not providing followup warnings or taking any subsequent action after earlier warnings of perceived imminent failure were ignored. At the point of Quiet Failing the actor of Quiet Failing no longer cares as failure approaches and occurs as the actor feels it is not their problem anymore.
Today at work i reached Quiet Failing and my life is better for it.
Where a fast food restaurant open late at night is actually not taking orders. Usually because all the workers just don’t want to take orders.
“Nah, I’m too tired for this shift. You too? Well then we are quiet closed till shifts over”
(n): An endearing term to be used for one special, very wonderful and lovely person. Usually refers to a shy, reserved individual who, although she doesn’t say much, gives off an energy reminiscent of gentle rain tapping on a window late after dark. Generally a bookworm and likes flowers.
Her eyes speak more than words
But what she shows is true

My parents were home so my bf and I had a quiet quickie.
"really be quiet kiddo, you funny individual, you think your smart, but man your dumb"

They don't really talk. But when they do, you better pray for your family and your life.
The Quiet Kid: "Sir how does a nuclear meltdown begin?"
The Science Teacher: "*explains* why?"
The Quiet Kid: "No reason... Looks like I do have plans after all"
Me: "Oh no"
The kind of kid who usually goes unnoticed. They don't talk much but they seem to have a lot going on up there. You'd say "hey what's up?" and they'd awkwardly stammer out "hey". Sometimes they don't want to talk, sometimes they can't, usually a mix of both. Inside they can be pretty chill, nice, and funny. But get on their bad side and they turn cold. They can be intensely insulting and sometimes have a weapon or two at home. But if you're nice to them they will try their best to pay it back. They're not bad people, just hard to read and not very talkative. Some people think they have depression and will ask why they're so quiet. And to be honest, they don't really know either. They usually pick a spot at the back where no one can really see them. When they do talk though, It's gonna be interesting.
Guy one: "Is that emo kid depressed or something?"
Guy two: "Nah, just the quiet kid. He's actually pretty nice"
Guy three: "Seriously? I insulted his friend and he didn't hold back"
