Diaspora-displaced

A compound adjective to describe persons and populations living outside of their Indigenous homelands. Typically, refers to the descendants of those who emigrated from their home countries (i.e., children born, raised and still living in the 'adopted' country of their parents/grandparents).

Lola is a diaspora-displaced Puerto Rican who returned to her ancestral motherland of Boriken.

Gravponics displacement is the time in minutes to displace the entire volume of liquid in a gravponics system.

gravponics displacement It is calculated by dividing the total volume of solution in gallons by the gallons per minute rate that is being added to the input side. For example: 1000 gallons of liquid at a rate of 10 gallons per minute would take 100 minutes to displace the entire volume of solution in a gravponics system.
