They say the truth will set you free. But I’ve been a prisoner to lies for so long I’ve practically become institutionalized. Though I no longer pace between the gloomy corners of my shady cell, I do not believe that I can ever truly “be free.” Not as long as I continue to fear my truth, while still taking refuge in my lies.
