Person 1: “damn I really like this character” Person 2: “ooo good luck with that, something really wild happens to them in the next season!” Person 1: *searched it up because person 2 was spoiler baiting them*
A schrodinger's spoiler is when a reference to a spoiler or joke is made but the context won't be realized or the content won't otherwise be spoiled until it's no longer a spoiler.
Me: I don't think he'll get the TPS report joke completely unless he's seen The Mandalorian Chapter 15. Dumbass: Dude that's totally a spoiler. Me: He won't get it until he's seen the episode so no, it's more of a schrodinger's spoiler.
