Truth in the subjective sense is the agreement between concept and object. Truth in the objective sense is a real thing that implies the consistency of objects and things within themselves. This implies that the reality of objects and things is consistent with their concepts.
Person 1: Traps are gay
Person 2: Well ain't that the truth
The truth is simply what we want to believe. We can look at textbooks, we can look at anything. But writing is simply not enough. We need proof.
For it to be a full truth, we need to see it with our eyes. We need to find it out ourselves. But even then, we could be wrong.
We could do it wrong. Maybe our measurements and math weren’t correct.
Another point, maybe everybody could be lying to us. And we had never suspected a thing.
Maybe red is blue, and blue is red. As in they had different names.
Our whole life could be filled with lies, and we would never suspect a thing.
The truth is simply what we want to believe.
Me: Define truth.
Friend: The truth is the beauty of the world and what is actually happening or that happened
Me: That's her definition of truth. What she thinks it is, or knows. We all know something, but maybe they're just lies.
But then again, there's still so much we don't know right know, and will never know.
