A fork of Rural Dictionary
When something awkward or unexpected happens it is often hard to decide what to say, so you simple say "What is this?!" in a very offensive manner.
Person1: Hey what's up
Person2: Nothing much, just got back from a carnival and I got a cool stuffed clown!!
Person1: *looks at the ugly stuffed clown* What is this?!?!
WHATS THE POINT OF THIS FREAKING WEBSITE. ITS JUST FREAKING FULL OF KIDS TROLLING EVERYONE
a mixture between the sayings: what's wrong with that? and what about it? with a slight exclaimation as to the urgency of the matter
to be used in more of a sarcastic tense and at the shut down of a friend or enemy when you are sure you're right
to be said with a careless tone of voice and used when doing something stupid, but talking about it as it's extremely cool
we just went to the zoo and we're 15, what of it!?
Term used by people(typically pre-teens) when they are trying to show they are cool, and are stealthily slipping into 'what the fuck' like silent ninjas only to become the next generation of cool kids(who are found wearing snapbacks that say 'SWAG' or 'DOPE'). It is a term of exclamation used in relatively less intense moments. The first 'what the' comes after a lot of thought and mental anguish at the age of around 9.
Lil Illinois: Posty bro just popped his new album bruhhhhhhh!
9 year old Dick: uhhhhhh.... What the!!
😎
A phrase with wrong grammar, originally means 'what is that for', but this is already accepted in the English language.
(Person X raising his middle finger>
