MUNYANYO- originated from the surname "Montano or Montaño", it was pronounced by a person with a cleft lip or cleft palate which has difficulty pronouncing syllables due to swapping and distorting of sounds, which in turn, turns syllables into an N.

People says the word means "I love you" to hide its true meaning when asked what it means.
