Engineering

n. A profession, usually taught in universities as a four-year program. It's far more rigorous than most other programs available to university students, with the benefit of near-guaranteed employment after graduation. Downsides include not being able to get laid and extreme social awkwardness.

Arts majors:

Look, isn't that one of those engineering students? Man, what a pathetic loser. We're so much cooler lolol.

Engineering student:

It's this "loser" here that'll be making 70 grand a year right after graduating. Enjoy your degree in Classical Literature suckers, it'll probably qualify you for flipping burgers.

A path not for the faint of heart. Not only will you get constantly shafted by your classes, but god forbid you get a professor or TA that grades your homework without being lenient, which happens to be the case. On the plus side, it'll be easy to find engineering opportunities and related-club, solely out of the experience of surviving hell with other poor souls.

Person 1: "I heard John had three panic attacks in a given week."

Engineering

A subject that a student is most likely to begin taking during their high school life. This is a rigorous course that students who enjoy math and science take and among other subjects such as arts, english, and language is typically considered harder. Engineering does come with benefits. If the student continues engineering in college, it raises chances of obtaining a job after graduating college. However, if a student decides to take this course, they will most likely soon experience side effects such as lack of sleep, a state of confusion, and an urge to end your own life.

Student 1: Dude, I think I'm going to take the engineering class!
Student 2: It's been nice knowing you.
Student 1: Why is that?
Student 2: It's because you're taking engineering.
