I lost the receipt for this broke ass clock radio, so Im'ma have ta' bust a gaffle by buying the same clock and returning this old one the next day using the new receipt. 2.These niggas think they can gaffle my ass by payin me for only 8 hours when I worked 11... So, I just gaffled they asses back by fillin' out 2 time cards! 3. President Bush tried to gaffle America by associating Iraq with the war on terror... That fool knows it's all about the mutha fuckin' oil he can grease his pockets with!

GAFFLE

To rip someone off,To get someones money by deceit.To scam someone for thier money by creating a ploy.To get over on a person or persons. Its an old slang term used in the early part of the 20th century.Depicted in the movie "The Sting". It was picked up again in the Bay Area in the 1980's(mainly Oakland I believe)

The 3 con artists got together to figure out a way to gaffle the tourists at Jack London square of thier money. "How about 3 card monty one of them says to the others"?"Yea" another agrees,"these suckers will fall for anything". It should be easy to gaffle these fools the 3rd says.
