Handlebar

An adjective used to describe a facility or organization which caters to both or either of the extreme ends, +/- 2.5 or more standard deviations, of a bell curve.

My son attends a charter school which gets the dropouts and the brains who do not fit in, or a handlebar school. Mensa is a 'right grip' handlebar organization
