Indifference; to be used when one simply does not care.
A: What do you want for dinner?
B: Meh.
An expression of of indifference or of a judgment of mediocrity; a verbal shoulder shrug.
The world: "Soccer is cool."
Americans: "Meh."
"The verbal equivalent of a shrug of the shoulders." -quoth me
"(While holding gun to their own head) Give me one good reason why I shouldn't pull this trigger!"

A showing of indifference on a subject, usually with a lack of emotion, and a tone of say 70% negativity towards the idea. Usually the person's mood is very calm and collected and would rather just lay back and chill.
"How was school today?"
"Meh"
"Wanna go to a concert?"
"(While watching TV) Meh"
Definition---
Indifference; to be used when one simply does not care; know how they are feeling; to feel nothing. ‘Meh’s can be strung together to highlight the intensity and severity of the unknown non-feeling(s). In this scenario the recipient of the meh meh meh syndrome can be mistakenly perceived as ‘depressed’.
Example:
Thor: Mortal maiden, I seek the presence of your lips. I command you to come forth! {smashes plate on floor}
Girl: Meh.
An interjection used to imply indifference towards a subject; "a verbal shrug". This particular interjection has somehow become quite popular among teens, the reason for this popularity is a mystery. Other popular interjections are "bleh", "dah", and "mih". Usu. pronounced shortly, without eye contact or body movement.
"You wanna go to the mall?"
"Meh, I have nothing to do for the rest of the day..." etc.
