Negus

A word that was severely mispronounced in a spelling Bee, which cause a very unintelligent segment of the US population to falsely assume the word derived from a racial epithet. Spelling the word with an (e) on the end, Negus(e) gives the English speaker the correct pronunciation of the word.

The man mispronounce the Negus in the Spelling Bee you idiot. The word Negus rhymes with "Abuse" That's why the congressman who is from that region spells his name Neguse, because that's how it is correctly pronounced.
