Nunavut

1. n. Northern most territory in the Canadian federation, formed in 1999 when the Northwest Territories was split in two. Capital is Iqaluit, total population is 30,000. English is second language, as most are Inuit and speek Inuktuk. Mostly consists of the arctic archapelago, isolated and cold much of the year. Like Nortwest Territories, except no roads.

Nunavut

A literal waste of 808,200 square miles, its the northernmost Canadian province that only has less than 40,000 people. The biggest city capital of Nunavut only has 7,500. Its cold as heck and nobody goes there.

a mythical place, most canadians aren't even sure it exists cause its so far out there. the only way to get around is by snowmobile, cause the only real road in the whole place is the main street through the capital (population 8000, 4 cars is a traffic jam). most of the people that live her are eskimos or w/e they call themselves now. has lots of islands that are frozen over, some even get real close to the north pole.

nunavut, what's that? it only exists in fairy tales, like humpty dumpty or something.

Nunavut Canada

Nunavut Canada - Nunavut has long land borders with the Northwest Territories on the mainland & a few Arctic islands, with Manitoba to the south of the Nunavut mainland; it also meets Saskatchewan to the southwest at a quadripoint, & has a short land border with Newfoundland & Labrador on Killiniq Island. The boundary with the Northwest Territories roughly approximates the tree line in Canada. Nunavut shares maritime borders with the provinces of Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, with constituent country Greenland, with which it also shares a land border on Hans Island. Nunavut is the least populous of Canada's provinces & territories , its capital is Iqaluit. This place is pretty much up there by the artic circle So unless you like polar bears, northern lights / aurora borealis which can also be seen from Alaska, other Canadian Territories, Iceland, Greenland, Norway, Sweden, Finland & Siberia , there isn't much to see or do in Nunavut Canada. Popular foods here are caribou stew & roasted musk ox. turbot, shrimp, and char fisheries Most other foods have to be imported. Sports Nunavut participates in both the male & female hockey categories in the Arctic Winter Games. 2 male teams (bantam & midget) and 1 female team (junior). Possibly dog sledding & curling are popular too. 🇨🇦

In Nunavut Canada , blizzards are a risk as well as flooding, avalanches & landslides. Nunavut means our land . The Canadian cartoon chilly beach which use to air On CBC in the early to mid 2000s, was about a small town located on a large iceberg, presumably in the Canadian Arctic. The iceberg is seemingly a floating island that can move around in the water. There are some trees and wildlife as well as a mountain with caves. According to at least 1 episode, the island is located in northwestern Hudson Bay, placing it in Nunavut.
