A comedy duo made back in 2005. These two people are Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox. Back in 2001, Anthony made a website named smosh.com, which had up to 1400 users in 2004. Ian and Anthony started their channel when they were 18. Anthony has a fiance named kalel cullen, they got engaged in japan on june 30th, they broke up in November. Ian was dating melanie moat 2007-September 2014. Smosh have been working on a smosh movie during the month of June 2014. They attended every vidcon. And they were also the first youtube channel to reach 10 million subscribers.

They are the third most subscribed channel on YouTube (only including the main channel) They have many channels now like, Smosh, Smosh 2nd Channel, Smosh games, El Smosh, Shut Up! Cartoons, and Smosh France. All the cast members are Ian Hecox, Anthony Padilla, Shayne Topp, Olivia Sui, Noah Grossman, Courtney Miller, Keith Leak Jr. (for the main channel) Mari Takahashi, Matt Sohinki, David 'Lasercorn' Moss, Joshua 'Jovenshire' Ovenshire, Wes Johnson, Amra 'Flitz' Rickets, and recently added Boze (for Smosh Games channels)

Smosh was originally made by Anthony Padilla who then left in 2017, Anthony was also joined by his best friend Ian Hecox. When Anthony left Ian took the whole company on to his hands. Over the years more people joined like: Courtney Miller, Shayne Topp, Keith Leak jr, Noah Grossman and Olivia Sui, who called themselves Smosh Squad, there is also another channel called Smosh Games members in it are: Mari, Boze, Wes, Lasercorn (who i think left), Jovenshire, Flitz (who left), Sohinki (I think left) and Damien.
