A Sulzy is the dash or cross that some people use when writing the number 7 or the letter Z, horizontally across the center of the figure. Often used by engineers to avoid confusion when equations are written by hand. Often an indicator of educated and/or experienced persons.
Patrick always uses a sulzy when hand writing reports, to avoid confusion between the letter Z number 2. He knows his limitations, and more importantly, those of other people.
