A fork of Rural Dictionary
The worst city in North America. It often gets compared to Windsor and as a resident of Windsor we find this offensive. Our city has its problems but it’s nothing like Brantford. It’s much poorer, dirtier, dangerous. It has a higher number of crimes than we do and we have more than 2x their population! At least we try!
Stop comparing Windsor to Brantford, it offends us Windsor peoples.
A city in Ontario well-known for being the most dangerous in Canada despite having a 100k population. Murder and other violent crimes occur just as regularly as property crime and drug usage. Imagine an all white poverty stricken trailer park but in city form and every resident has an illegal gun and heroin
brantford is ghetto and smells like welfare
A city in Canada that is more dangerous than most cities in the USA. It’s violent crime, especially murders and assaults, is out of control, the police force is corrupt and lazy, drug use is a common habit of the locals, theft can happen for anything, even things that aren’t worth stealing, it’s just as dangerous during the day as it is at night. The city suffers from a lot of youth crime as well. The opioids flood the ghettos and housing projects which make the atmosphere even worse. People are very poor and haven’t received the proper education to leave the city. It’s quite literally falling apart and has been forever.
Brantford doesn’t have a safe space….. go get into a fight infront of a Brantford cop and they won’t arrest you, they’ll start placing bets on who they think is going to win
brantford is a shitty place in Ontario Canada that's around an hour away from Toronto. downtown is a place where the homeless people roam the streets smoking cigs and you cant walk down there without being afraid of getting jumped. there's a Tim hortons on almost every street and probably over 100 pot dealers in that city. everyone basically knows eachother and the Stanley street McDonald's is the basic hangout spot for teenagers. pretty much every girl in brantford lost their virginity in 8th or 9th grade and all the boys are hockey players who use girls for nudes and run around shouting ferda all day. you can barely trust anyone in brantford because word gets around so easily that everyone knows when two people break up. and the high schools are so bad, you'd be better off living in jail sometimes. but hey, we've got Wayne Gretzky center
person 1: me and my girlfriend broke up.
person 2: yeah, all of brantford has heard
I live in Toronto (regent park) and I’m no stranger to crime. My area is one of the worst parts of the city. But when I spent some time here visit my family, I could not believe how much crime went on for that week. They don’t even live in one of the worst parts of the city but all I could hear were sirens and gun shots. People were stealing in broad daylight and walking around on heroine like the walking dead. I couldn’t fathom how a city with 100000 people had so much SHIT going on. It made me miss regent park which has been said by no one ever! And boy with this place ghetto as fuck. I didn’t realize other parts of Canada had real ghettos, and again I was told that this wasn’t even close to the worst part of the town
Brantford makes Toronto look like paradise
Basically imagine all of the characters from King of the Hill and Trailer Park Boys lived in a town of 100,000 in Southern Ontario. Property values are low for a reason.
Often known as a ghost town with a high crime rate and lots of racism. Luckily, University students and Natives from Six Nations with some real culture have been moving to the city, making the city far less bland and revitalizing the downtown area.
Neighbourhoods: West Brant, Holmedale, East Ward, Brier Park/Fairview, Ava Heights, Eagle Place, Echo Place, Brentwood Park, Terrace Hill.
“I went to Brantford last week, why would anyone sane decide to move there? Honestly there is nothing this place has to offer anyone.”
