Clupid

1. The tipping point where one's state of intellect goes from cleverness to stupidity.

2. To believe that you are so clever that you become unaware of the growing stupidity; normally achieved by flattery.
Politicians and people of high esteem normally suffer from such a condition, convincing others to share the condition.

What a 'clupid' idea, to think that the politicians would take questions from journalists that were not already screened and rehearsed.

The astrophysicist, Sir Walter Dummas, said that–the universe is pure intelligence–this was while in the same breath speaking of penetrating the stratosphere so that we could live on the Moon. Isn't that "clupid", since the universe's intelligence should know that we can't co-exist on earth, why would it open up another state for humans to destroy before we have learned peace on earth?
