diggerydoo

A primative musical instrument created and used by the aborigines of Australia. It's a wind instrument having only 2 tones, both of which are quite low in frequency.

Most people have heard the deep resonance of this intrument in the background of movies where it's used to promote an atmosphere appropriate to an Australian outback theme.

The night was silent except for the mysterious sound of a diggerydoo whose low pitched tones could be heard from a distance.
