A shortened down version of “Akaashi” meaning Bokuto~san’s one and only love. Since Bokuto can’t say Akaashi’s name correctly.

Bokuto:"No problem Akgaashi! I'm doing this for me too!" I pause, thinking for a moment, "Did I say your name right?"

Akaashi: "You were closer. It's alright, I don't mind. How about you just call me Kaashi? it's easier to say."
