Also an author, her best known work being 1992’s “Sex”, which was sold sealed in plastic -- not because it was obscene, but because no one would have bought it if they were able to see how lame the contents really were. Also supposedly a musician.
Madonna has staying power in the public eye, although I've never been able to figure out why.

Resulting in multiple Grammy wins and sales over 200 million. She has also taken apart in many other projects. Landing the staring role in the movie Evita, showcasing her talent as a singer and actress. Resulting in a Golden Globe win. Musically, she has written the majority of her songs and is influenced by many musicians prior to her including David Bowie and Prince. Her music videos have gained millions of views on internet sites such as YouTube. She is also an author, and has written multiple children books (most becoming best sellers).
