Someone or something that is awkward or just a little off. Somebody that is rude, careless, or just otherwise a jerk. also if something isn't going your way it may be called maladjusted. badly or unsatisfactorily adjusted, esp. in relationship to one's social circumstances, environment, etc. Poorly adjusted: a maladjusted carburetor. Inadequately adjusted to the demands or stresses of daily living.
